Y Services provide outreach and youth work sessions for young people primarily between the ages of 11-19 years and voluntary opportunities for young people which meet the “Every Child Matters” outcomes.
They support communities and organisations to develop high quality youth work projects which meet the needs of young people in the local area. Also developing educational and research opportunities which support the professional practice of youth work.
Y Services for Young People can provide skilled, trained youth work staff to work with young people. They are also currently contracted for the detached youth work across Gosport.
Focus Youth Centre
Focus Youth Club are working with young people with additional needs to get them out and about, make new friends and do things they didn’t think they would be able to do.
The sessions are every Wednesday from 19:00 – 21:00 at Focus Youth Centre, Lee-on-the-Solent Junior School for young people aged 13 – 25. The cost is ?1 per session plus 50p for toast.

Fun, free football sessions at Forton Recreation Ground, Gosport. The sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 16:30 – 17:30 and on Saturdays from 09:30 – 11:30 and are available to anyone aged 10 – 17 years old, just bring along your shin pads, suitable clothing and trainers. No booking necessary but you will need to get permission from your parent/carer.

Health and Wellbeing Drop-ins for young people
The Moving on Project and The Legacy Partnership offer free and confidential advice, support and guidance on your doorstep.
Simply pop along to chat to a professional Youth Worker or Counsellor about bullying, sexual health, substance use, smoking, pregnancy testing, condoms, self-harm, eating disorders, relationships, chlamydia testing etc.
Please see the newsletter below which details information in relation to the LGBTQ group that meets every Thursday evening between 18:30 – 21:00.
