Magistrates have fined a man for possessing cannabis. James Harrop admitted having the class B drug on him in Gosport High Street on September 24. The 24-year-old, of Freemantle Road, Gosport, was fined £130 by Fareham magistrates. He must also pay £15 to crime victims and £85 in court costs. An order

Drink driver Martyn Rustell has been banned from the roads. The 22-year-old, of Dayshes Close, Gosport, admitted driving a vehicle in Grove Road, Gosport, after drinking too much on September 24. Man admits to assaulting PC

Magistrates have fined a man for assaulting a police officer. Alfred Hema, 29, of Camden Street, Gosport, admitted assaulting PC Luke Goble in South Street, Gosport, on September 25. He was told to pay £350 in a fine and costs and compensation by Fareham magistrates. Original article
