David Knight , 29 years olds, was stopped by Police as he drove a Citreon Berlingo in Elson Road, Gosport on July 22.
A test revealed he had 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.
Knight, of Hambrook Road, Gosport, was due to appear before magistrates on August 3 but he didn’t show up.
When Knight was brought before Portsmouth magistrates he pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving without insurance and failing to appear in Court and was fined £375, with £100 in costs. He was disqualified from driving for a year.
