Driver was over the limit

A motorist caught driving while almost three times the drink-drive limit has been banned from the roads.

Antoinette Woodman pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle in Portsmouth Road, Lee-on-the-Solent, after drinking too much on July 21.

A test revealed her breath contained 233 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood – almost three times the 80 mg limit.

Woodman, from Waterloo Road, Gosport, was banned from driving for two years and told to do 60 hours of unpaid work by Fareham Magistrates.

The 39 year old was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
