Games and baby milk are stolen from a Gosport flat

Thieves stole baby milk and a games console from a flat during a burglary.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft from Livingstone Court in Nimrod Drive, Gosport, on Saturday.

The home owners left their flat by 11.15am and locked the front door.

When they came home at 4.45pm they found someone has made a small hole in the outside wall to put their hand in to unlock the front door.

After searching the flat, the burglar made off with a black Xbox 360 console, around £18 in cash and a Nike basketball.

The thieves took five Xbox games including Kinect Sports, Kinect Joyride, Red Dead Redemption, Medal of Honor and Enchanted Arms.

They also stole items and Cow and Gate baby milk.

PC Phil Hall said ‘During the times for the incident there would have been people in the area.

‘Did you see anyone acting suspiciously?  Did you see anyone carrying lots of items or have you been offered any of the stolen items?’

Anyone with information should call Gosport Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
