A women woke up and found a burglar searching through her bedroom.
At around 4am on November 6, the thief entered a house in Skipper Way, Lee-on-the-Solent, through the back garden patio doors. After searching downstairs, the burglar went into a bedroom and used the light on his mobile phone to search the top of a chest of drawers while a couple was asleep.
The woman woke up and screamed at the thief, who is thought to be a man. He then left through the same way he got in. The burglar was not chased and it is not known where he went after that.
A money box containing loose change was the only thing that was stolen and a pile of small change was found on a path at the back of the house.
