Local information and support – Covid-19 update

Non-essential services remain on a reduced basis and you can find out details about this from the Gosport Borough Council website – also available are contact details for queries you may have regarding Council Tax, Benefits, Housing and other essential services.

The Hampshire County Council information page includes links to trusted sources of information such as the NHS and Hampshire Constabulary.  They also have details of a Hampshire Coronovirus Helpline for vulnerable individuals, which is open seven days a week, along with other sources of support and information.

Gosport Voluntary Action have been working with Gosport Borough Council, along with other voluntary sector organisations including Acts of Kindness, to provide support to those in need in Gosport during the pandemic.  They are also co-ordinating volunteers to provide assistance and you can register to be a volunteer or register for help by completing the online form:

Stay at Home
  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
  • If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home

Do not meet others, even friends or family. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
