Volunteer service to help vulnerable people during crisis

Vulnerable Gosport people struggling to cope during the coronavirus crisis can now get matched with volunteers or community groups who can help them.

They just need to contact a new service, set up to help the most vulnerable people who are isolated at home and have no other source of help.

The service, set up by the council and Gosport Voluntary Action, is also asking people and community groups to make contact and register as helpers.

To request help, or to volunteer, people in the borough can either:

A leaflet detailing Coronavirus (COVID-19) support for Gosport residents and a guide for those self-isolating will be delivered to all households in the Borough over the coming days.
